Over the years, I have found that many people just don’t like to be photographed. I get it - we all perceive ourselves in a certain way, and a well taken photograph, candid or posed, exposes (pun intended!) who we really are and how the world sees us. Intimidating is a word that comes to mind. What has made me successful and blessed with amazing clients is my ability to immediately put people at ease, make the camera go away, and just have fun. The smiles and the love will always shine through.
All family sessions include a pre-production phone call or visit to discuss location options, attire specifics, and goals the client wants to achieve during the shoot. The actual studio or on location shoot usually lasts one hour - I work quickly and dynamically with fun and giggles as the goal. Post-session, I purge any and all photos with unflattering expressions and angles, and lightly edit (i.e. exposure, color, tone) the remaining images. Via an online gallery, the client will select their favorite digital images from the best captures of the shoot. Within 72hrs. and via Dropbox, the selected images are delivered to the client in high resolution .jpegs + smaller web-ready versions. The client will enjoy a full copyright release of their selected, edited digital images. I include two (2) 8x10” or 8x12” prints of the clients choosing.
